ALAN PARSONS Live Project

This year's Mallorca Concert Series will feature Alan Parsons as its international star. Sound engineer for Pink Floyd's iconic The Dark Side of the Moon, collaborator on the Beatles' later works, with 11 Grammy nominations and creator of universal hits like Eye in the Sky and Sirius, his career places him among the most influential figures in music history.
Currently, he continues to tour internationally, bringing to the public a repertoire that covers his greatest hits along with new live interpretations, keeping alive a musical legacy that has marked several generations.
On June 23, his legendary status will reach the stage of the Velodròm Illes Balears; to welcome him, the venue will be transformed into an auditorium-style space, designed to offer a more intimate and refined experience, optimizing both sound and visual quality. This adaptation is designed to befit an artist of his international stature.
MALLORCA concert series
In 2025, the island's music scene welcomed the Mallorca Concert Series with open arms, a series of concerts by two great artists, Joaquín Sabina and IlVolo, who left an indelible mark on the audience.
Following its success and with the mission of perpetuating these musical experiences and continuing to promote quality cultural programming, the festival expands its lineup, thus becoming the musical event of the summer, which this year will feature two locations that are the ultimate expression of Mallorcan identity: Estadi Mallorca Son Moix and the Velodròm Illes Balears.
During the month of June, Mallorca will witness the Mallorca Concert Series, a festival that will host three shows: two for resident audiences who enjoy select musical experiences, and another for tourists who value this quality cultural tourism offer.
In addition to the musical shows Mallorca Concert Series, Grup Trui and Hay Ganas de Concierto will launch a series of activities aimed at contributing to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals that the administration has set together with the Agenda 2030.
The Mallorca Concert Series has been co-financed by the Sustainable Tourism Tax Fund of the Government of the Balearic Islands, and the Mallorca Tourism Foundation.
Welcome to Mallorca Concerts Series 2026, the stage for your passion!
SDGs
The promotion of local artistic products is intrinsic to the DNA of the Mallorca Concert Series, driving the dissemination of local talent both within and outside our islands.
For this reason, within the framework of the Mallorca Concert Series, various activities will be held to disseminate, educate, and raise awareness about the Sustainable Development Goals that the administration has set, along with the 2030 Agenda.
Grup Trui and Hay Ganas de Concierto, as companies that operate in the islands, are also committed to promoting social equity, economic efficiency and environmental conservation.
As part of our commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals, we are actively working to ensure the festival is a safe, inclusive, and respectful space. We are collaborating with the Red Cross to ensure the care and safety of all attendees, with special attention to the LGBTQ+ community. Furthermore, thanks to our agreement with Apropa Cultura, we are opening the festival to people at risk of social exclusion, bringing music and culture to all audiences.
We also support a sustainable and environmentally responsible festival model. We support local suppliers, prioritizing zero-mile products and fostering community economic development. We promote the use of public transportation and bicycles to reduce our ecological footprint, and we organize activities such as waste collection on Sóller beach to protect the environment.
INFO
During the Mallorca Concert Series, and as part of the Sustainable Development Goals and the 2030 Agenda, we will carry out a series of activities to enhance the festival's value as a sustainable cultural offering.
Professional Conferences:
A fundamental element in the dissemination of sustainable development projects is undoubtedly raising awareness, providing information, and disseminating these plans. To this end, we have prepared three conferences related to music, sustainability, and communication, featuring prominent speakers from the industry.
Likewise, for the Mallorca Concert Series, we've created an engaging program to showcase and support the local cultural scene. We'll be hosting free concerts featuring local bands and artists at iconic venues throughout the city.

Valldemossa, Chopin's prelude
In the winter of 1838, Frédéric Chopin found refuge in the Charterhouse of Valldemossa, where the serene landscape of the Tramuntana Mountains became the perfect echo for his most intimate music. Accompanied by George Sand, he composed part of his "Preludes" amidst stone walls and resounding silences. Today, a visit to Valldemossa is like following a vibrant musical route, with the original Pleyel piano, concerts in historic venues, and an atmosphere that still whispers romantic notes to the attentive traveler.
Formentor, in Ginastera's key
During a creative stay at the Hotel Formentor, Alberto Ginastera joined the cultural elite who found a haven of beauty and inspiration in this corner of northern Mallorca. Although he left no work dedicated to the place, the intensity of the landscape seeped into his music. Walking through Formentor is like tracing a sensorial route where the sea, the wind, and the cliffs converse with the tensions and rhythms of one of the great composers of the 20th century.
Sacred route: The song of the Sibyl la in Palma and Lluc
Every Christmas Eve, Mallorca revives an ancient tradition with the Cant de la Sibil·la, a prophetic chant that resonates solemnly in both Palma Cathedral and the sanctuary of Lluc. Performed by a solitary voice that pierces the darkness with a medieval melody, this World Heritage-listed ritual becomes a musical and spiritual journey, where landscape, faith, and music merge into a unique experience.
